Sisa Necklace - Hemprich’s coral snake (Micrurus hemprichii)

Carefully hand-woven by artisans of the Amazonian Indigenous Shiwiar nationality, this piece takes five days to complete.

The Sisa necklace is crafted with Czech glass beads; each bead is selected and woven with precision to create a textured pattern that mimics the skin of the Hemprich’s coral snake from the Amazon jungle in Ecuador.

The clasp is made from a huayruro seed, a symbol of protection and abundance for indigenous cultures in South America. 

Each necklace is made to order, and because every piece is handmade, slight variations may occur — making each one truly unique.
